Jessica Jones
Founder & Managing Director
With 20 years’ experience in recruitment, Jess previously served as Co-MD and member of the board of an independent consultancy, helping steer it through sustained growth and its successful transition to employee ownership (EOT). This experience cemented her reputation for building resilient businesses and cultures where people thrive.
Known for her ability to form trusted, long-term relationships with leaders, Jess takes a holistic and tenacious approach to search, uncovering the deeper motivations that drive both clients and candidates to ensure every placement strengthens the organisation for the future.
As Managing Director, Jess leads Sectora’s ambitious growth strategy. She is passionate about creating an adult, values-led culture where consultants are empowered, trusted, and supported with the latest technology and tools to succeed.
Beyond business, Jess is a proud mum, balancing entrepreneurship with family life. She’s also a committed supporter of Julia’s House children’s hospice.
John Boult
Principal Consultant
John is an experienced recruiter with a career spanning both London and Dorset-based agencies. Now based in London, he thrives in the city’s dynamic, multicultural environment, which fuels his passion for connecting people and opportunities both in the UK and internationally across a wide range of industries. He has built a strong track record of placing talent in sectors including private equity, marketing, sales, and engineering.
Known for his proactive approach and commitment to building lasting relationships, John is dedicated to delivering outstanding service for both clients and candidates. By combining deep market knowledge with targeted headhunting, he consistently identifies and secures the best talent to meet each organisation’s unique needs.
Outside of recruitment, John is a keen traveller who has explored more than 34 countries and counting. He also enjoys staying active through regular gym training and playing tennis.
Douglas Powell

Douglas has seen it all. With nearly 20 years in the sector, he has spent the majority of his career placing senior contract professionals across the Microsoft ecosystem. As organisations around the world accelerate their digital transformation programmes, the demand for experienced specialists who can deliver complex technology projects quickly has never been greater.
At Sectora Group, Douglas works with businesses to secure highly capable contract professionals who can step into critical roles, implement complex solutions, and support evolving technology strategies across the Microsoft platform. His work centres on building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring organisations have access to the right expertise at the moments that matter most. Known for his consultative approach,
Douglas focuses on understanding the broader strategic goals of each business and helping them build the technical capability needed to support sustainable growth. Based in beautiful Dorset, Douglas brings a calm, thoughtful approach to his work and is highly regarded by both clients and contractors for his integrity and market knowledge. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Douglas fishing on Chesil Beach, cooking on his BBQ, or at horse shows supporting his wife.
Tom Glanfield

Tom is an entrepreneur, investor, and the founder of LHi Group, which he grew from a start-up into a global recruitment business with offices across the UK, Europe, and the US. After exiting LHi, Tom has focused on investing in and mentoring high-growth companies, supporting leaders with scaling internationally, building strong cultures, and driving sustainable success.
As Sectora Group’s Non-Executive Director and investor, Tom brings invaluable expertise to our expansion plans, including entry into the US market. A dedicated family man and father to three boys, Tom is also a passionate supporter of charitable causes, raising thousands for organisations such as Julia’s House through endurance challenges.
